Additional information:
Dear colleagues, parents and friends,
It is with great pleasure to invite you to our next webinar “Meet the Global expert” on Sunday, November 11th at 6 p.m. for therapists and 8 p.m. for parents Russian time. We are more than pleased to welcome back Dimity Dornan, one of the world renown experts in Auditory Verbal Therapy. She gave her first presentation in our PORA! webinar cycle on May 10th and you can find the recording of her presentation under this link.
She kindly agreed to present again from Brisbane in the middle of the night in order to accommodate to our time schedule. This time she will describe in detail the 10 principles of Auditory Verbal Therapy, she will talk about the role of the brain in listening “the ears are just the way in”, she will explain why most experts agree that babies are born to hear and she will make the point “Every time you do something for your child that he can do himself, you deprive him of an opportunity to learn”.
I am sure you will enjoy listening to her and I would kindly encourage you to actively participate by asking questions or making comments. Please let us know whether you will join us by leaving a short note in our weblog. I am very much looking forward to seeing you soon.
Monika Lehnhardt
IMPORTANT! The soundtrack for the slides below comes from an earlier presentation on the same topic delivered by Dimity in PORA!
