The previous meetings with Sandro Burdo (Italy, an ENT surgeon in CI, an otologist consultant in the Piacenza Otological Group and in the V. Buzzi Children’s Hospital in Milan) took place in December 2019 (webinar) and January 2020 (forum-discussion). The topic: nowadays we are using a minimal invasive surgical access of about 4 cm skin incision for CI. Also the indication area for CI has greatly expanded in the last years.
Presented by Dr. Astrid Magele, head of the “Hearing impaired program” of HNO UNiversity Clinic St.Poelten – largest HNO clinic in Austria. She is member of the Otology group of Prof. GM Sprinzl.
