Marina Gureva, teacher-defectologist (surdopedagogue) of the highest qualification (26 years of experience), supervisor of internship for students at the Herzen State Pedagogical University in the Children’s City Surdology Center, St. Petersburg, expert at the Lenhardt Academy.<\/p>\n
In 1996, she graduated from Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia. Correctional pedagogy faculty, specialty «elementary school teacher of the deaf and hearing impaired, pre-school teacher-defectologist». Since November 1995 she has been working at the State Centre of Vocational Education and Training \u21161. She has experience working with children of different ages (from 2 to 18 years). In the rehabilitation department of SCVL Nr.1 she gives remedial and developmental classes to children with hearing loss of the senior preschool age, accompanies groups of schoolchildren with hearing loss, studying in mass and speech schools (1-3 classes), provides consultations and training for parents. She has extensive experience working with children after cochlear implantation (CI).<\/p>\n
Regularly improves her professional level. She was trained at the «Preschool Childhood» center in A.V. Zaporozhets (with E.I. Leongard), at the Verboton center (Zelenograd). Completed 2 stages of training at the school for specialists in setting up the MED-EL cochlear implant system speech processors.<\/p>\n
She actively interacts with various organizations in St. Petersburg and other cities in Russia. She participated in a joint project of the Public Organization of Parents of Hearing-Impaired Children «SPB ARDIS» and ROOI «Perspektiva» (Moscow) «Preparing Mass Schools to Include Children with Special Needs. Children must learn together!». Conducts awareness-raising seminars on the principles of inclusive education in schools in St. Petersburg. In 2012, she held a training seminar for teachers of the deaf in the Krasnodar Territory (hearing aid center «Master Hearing»). In the summer of 2012, she participated in the International Rehabilitation Retreat for Children with CI in Turkey within the framework of the program «I Hear the World! Within the framework of the cooperation agreement between A.I.
