\"\"<\/a>Olga Peskova graduated from Russian State Pedagogical University in 2005 and holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degree in Special Education with emphasis on Teaching for the Hearing Impaired. She worked as speech language pathologist for children with hearing loss and cochlear implant in centers for children with speech and hearing problems in Moscow and in St. Petersburg. In addition, she was leading the parents club for parents of children with hearing loss and cochlear implant. She published several papers in Russia, regarding family education of children with hearing loss. In 2010, she received the Fulbright scholarship and worked on the research \u201cRehabilitation of children after cochlear implantation\u201d in the University of Texas at Dallas in Dr. Tobey’s lab. During her visit she co-authored the book chapter \u201cEvidence about the Effectiveness of Cochlear Implants for Children on Open-Set Speech Recognition\u201d.\u00a0 She is currently pursuing her PhD degree in Dr. Emily Tobey\u2019s lab at the University of Texas at Dallas, School of Behavior and Brain Science, Department of Communication science and disorders, Dallas Cochlear Implant Program.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
