Reha situation – info for Shirin

To clarify : by mistake I mentioned a
Quality Evaluation Board of NCMCC
in fact it is the Quality Evaluation Board of IAHRS   which is the NGO of Anastasia Maimanova, Liubov Wolowik and ther team active in Kyrgyzstan
And: Shirin: let us not continue this email chain. Better ways of group communication will be promoted

Dear Shirin, all
There was various communication about this topic  recently , which I started to coordinate, supporting Anastasia and Liubov as the main actors on behalf of IAHRS. I am at present  drafting an outline of the relevant statements & emails to obtain a transparent overview of relevant facts and contractual responsibilities. This is to enable the best possible rehabilitation for the children !
We are also preparing a ZOOM meeting of all relevant stakeholder, such as Dr.Abdulsalam initiated . Anastasia announced this in her latest email to Gulzat.
By now just one aspect which is specifically relevant to you personally and your position in the CI Program Kyrgyzstan:
Within the first GIZ  project, funding   the Clinic Partnership of Lehnhardt Foundation with NCMCC (“Cochlear Impantation in Kyrgyzstan”
  • You have been officially nominated Project Manager on the side of NCMCC ,  in parallel Munar was nominated Project Manager on the side of NCMCC for the second GIZ Project “Neonatal Hearing Screening and Early Intervention”)
  • Anastasia Naimanova and Larissa Kovaleva where included in the team of NCMCC for the Guest Trainings in one of the leading CI Centers in Germany . They have a track record of excellent performance and training benefit. And sustainability of international support is now granted by the Quality Evaluation Board of NCMCC
Both facts where based on Prof.Uzakbaevs decision as former director of NCMCC to appoint you leader of the CI Program on behalf of NCMCC and so our operational partner in doing the project work from the beginning. The same was valid for Dr.Abdulsalam/the Qatar Embassy. Your recommendation of Anastasia and her team to do the Reha for the 22 children previously implanted was consistent and relevant.
If in fact Gulzat now would withdraw Your involvement in the CI Program on behalf of the NCMCC and not recommend the Reha by Anatasia and her team for the new 45 children (no problem if she is recommending others as well !) this would mean (in my personal opinion) to question substantial topics of the GIZ Partnership Program and its continuation in further financial support in follow-up project.
A related email of Monika Lehnhardt-Goriany to Gulzat, asking for clarification was not yet answered to.
We heard, that only other Reha experts would now be recommended by Gulzat. However this is not official and would be not supportive for continuation of the GIZ Partnership projects.
Further information coming on FRiday the latest.
kind regards,
Michael
