Работа по специальности
Эмма Рашбрук является клиническим директором программы “Hear and Say”. Как аудиолог и сертифицированный аудиовербальный терапевт Эмма имеет более 20-ти лет опыта клинической работы со слабослышащими детьми.

  1. Она входит в состав директорского совета Академии им. А. Г. Белла с 2013 г., в частности на должности председателя – с июня 2018 г. Ранее Эмма занимала должности как сопредседателя комитета по глобальным вопросам при Академии им. А. Г. Белла, так и сертификационной комиссии Академии им. А. Г. Белла.
  2. Основные темы и области исследования
    Эмма Рашбрук имеет широкий опыт исследовательской работы. Круг ее интересов включает удаленное здравоохранение, терапию односторонней потери слуха, слуховое усилие и имплантируемые слуховые устройства. Ее разработки сыграли основополагающую роль в предоставлении инновационных дистанционных возможностей в терапии для людей, проживающих в удаленных регионах.  Диссертация на соискание научной степени магистра философии (Квинслендский университет, 2012 г.) называлась «Удаленное программирование кохлеарных имплантов у детей» и была первым в своем роде исследованием, показавшем достоверность результатов удаленной настройки. С тех пор Эмма стала ключевой фигурой в содействии  разнообразным исследованиям по телепрактике, ориентированной на слух, в том числе по удаленному тестированию слухового восприятия речи.
